Celebrate with Community Choir
RESOUND Community Choir will be
performing a musical evening at 8pm on
Thursday, December 20 when they hold their
annual ‘Celebrate!’ event.
Organisers of the evening are promising a mix
of the best of Christmas music, from sacred to
secular, including carols for the audience to
sing along with.
Over the past five years the event has been at
various churches in the area, always in aid of a
local charity.
This year it will take place in St Anne’s
Catholic Church, Ormskirk, in aid of the
Birchwood Centre in Skelmersdale.
Musical director Sarah Monteith of the West
Lancashire choir explained: “This is the event
the choir most look forward to. Coming so
close to Christmas it always creates a beautiful
atmosphere, leaving everyone feeling full of
festive cheer.”
This year the choir are delighted to welcome
guests Ormskirk Ukulele Band, who will be
joining them on stage.
