Linx ® continuous ink jet printers provide fast, reliable noncontact
printing for applying sell-by dates, batch codes and
logos to a wide range of products on the production line.
The Linx 4800 prints text, numbers or simple logos in
character sizes from 1.1mm to 10mm high, making it ideally
suited for 1 and 2 line printing applications in a wide range
of industries including food and beverage, toiletries,
household chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
In line with all Linx products, the Linx 4800 combines
ease of use with high performance and flexibility. It is
programmed by simple user-friendly on-screen menus and
can store up to 5 messages in its memory for easy recall
during product changeovers. Its rugged enclosure, range of
accessories and interfacing options ensure that it fits easily
into any production environment.
The Linx 4800 is available in four variants offering different
levels of print performance.The 4800 Optima is ideal for
applications where quality of print is the prime consideration,
while the three high speed variants offer greater print speeds
for faster production lines. Capable of printing at speeds
exceeding 6 metres per second, the 1-line 4800 Xtra High
Speed provides clear, legible print on even the fastest
production lines.
