My PASSION Magazine
Everyone has a passion. Everyone has a story. Everyone has a voice. And everyone wants to be heard.
Because of this, “My Passion Magazine” was birthed. Each article that is written on these pages are articles from the heart. Stories that needed to be heard. Stories that will inspire you. Stories that will make you laugh, but there may be some a little sad. Some will add a little understanding to your life that you may not have had before. Some may add a few calories to your body but some will discuss how to get rid of them. All in all they are stories of someone’s passion.
Each writer has contributed these articles so that others will be encouraged.
I want to thank each writer for their hard work in putting their passion on paper.

Corner with Melissa Jones I like to think of myself as a “structured person.” Some people may define my “structure” as being bossy or controlling, but I CHOOSE to believe that my way is just better, lol. I learned a long time ago that raising three boys, two dogs, and training a husband is not an easy task. In this day and age, we’re all super busy. But getting a quick, easy, and healthy meal on the table is easier than some might think. Organization and prep is the key to your success! To help me stay efficient and organized, I make the grocery list out before I go to the store. I don’t have the time to make 100 trips to the grocery store throughout the week, so my family is trained to think like this. If you don’t put your needs or wants on “the list” before grocery day…then SNOOZE YOU LOSE, buddy. So…the night before grocery day, I look at our calendar to see what nights we will be at home and eating together. I then write down what our meal will be for those nights. Next, I enter the ingredients needed for each meal into my incredible grocery app. Lastly, I get the coupons that I need if I have any, and I am ready to go! Recipe of the Quarter on page 25
