RE-ROOFING OF SATAKE RICE MILL HOUSE AT KIDAPAWAN CITY
The NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY-REGION XII, through its Corporate Budget for
2013 intends to apply the sum of FOUR MILLION SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE
THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETEEN & 51/100 PESOS (Php 4,789,619.51) being
the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract/s for the
RE-ROOFING OF WAREHOUSE AND MILL HOUSE of NFA Region XII. Bids received
in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY-REGION XII,now invites bids for RE-ROOFING
OF IBG WAREHOUSE AT KORONADAL CITY and RE-ROOFING OF SATAKE RICE
MILL HOUSE AT KIDAPAWAN CITY. Completion of the Works is required for forty five
(45)day per project. Bidders should have completed, from the date of submission and
receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project.Bidders should possess a valid PCAB
License applicable to the contract, must have a Largest Single Contract that is
completed and accomplished which is similar in nature and the value thereof must be at
least 25% of the ABC of the lot to bid. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in
the Bidding Documents, particularly, in section II. Instruction to Bidders.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using nondiscretionary
pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations
(IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government
Procurement Reform Act”.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or
organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital
stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY-
REGION XII,and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30
am to 4:00 pm.
The NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY-REGION XII,will hold a Pre-Bid Conference, which
shall beopen only to all interested parties who have purchased the Bidding Documents.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the
address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in
the amount ofPhp 5,000.00 per project.
Bids must be delivered to the address below. All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend
at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
The NFA Region XII assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify
bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
THE NFA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS: TO WAIVE ANY
FORMALITIES OR DEFECTS FOUND THEREIN AND TO ANNUL THE BIDDING PROCESS, AND
REJECT ALL BIDS AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD, WITHOUT THEREBY INCURRING
ANY LIABILITY TO THE AFFECTED BIDDER OR BIDDERS AND TO ACCEPT ONLY SUCH BIDS
MOST ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE NFA AND THE GOVERNMENT.
