Insecticide Resistance Management
Vetica Insecticide contains two active ingredients with different modes of action. Flubendiamide is classified by IRAC
in Group 28 – ryanodine receptor modulators. Buprofezin is classified by IRAC in Group 16 – chitin biosynthesis
inhibitors. Cross-resistance between these two classes of chemistries and other modes of action has not been
documented. However, repeated use of the same chemistry has been shown to result in the buildup of resistant
strains of insects. Rotate the use of Vetica Insecticide with alternate mode of action insecticides. For more
information about Insecticide Resistance Management (IRM), visit www.irac-online.org. (see chart on other side)
