NEVRUZ / SPRING FESTIVAL
Takvimin olmadığı dönemlerde insanlar
hayatlarını ekin ekme, bağ bozumu,
hasat, koç katımı gibi faaliyetlere göre
düzenlermiş. Nevruz da hayvancılık
ve tarımla uğraşan topluluklar için kışın
bitişini, baharın gelişini müjdeleyen ve 13
bin yıllık mazisi olan bir bayram. Gündüz
ve gecenin eşitlendiği 21 Mart’ta büyük coşkuyla
kutlanan Nevruz, bahar ve bereketin
yanı sıra yeni yılın başlangıcını, doğanın
dirilişini ve kutsal olarak arınmayı simgeliyor.
Nevruz doğayla barışık olma ve doğadan
faydalanma dileğine dayanıyor. Bayram
günü çoğu Türk devletinde Nevruz sofraları
kuruluyor, bu sofralarda pek çok geleneksel
yemeğe yer veriliyor, kurbanlar kesiliyor, ev
ziyaretleri gerçekleştiriliyor ve toprakta
yakılan ateşin üzerinden atlanıyor. Ateş üzerinden
atlama geleneği hemen hemen tüm
Türk devletlerinin kültüründe yer alıyor.
Kimi inanışa göre Nevruz ateşinden atlamak
günahlardan arınma sayılırken, kimi inanışa
göre de doğanın uyanışı ateşle kutlanıyor.
the world, people used to
arrange their lives according to
certain activities such as planting,
spring festival is a 13 thousand year old
festival which heralds the end of winter
and the arrival of spring for communities
that live on agriculture and livestock
breeding. On March 21, the day of equal
day and night, the spring festival is celebrated
with great enthusiasm as the symbol
of spring, fertility, new year, revival of
the nature and purification.
The spring festival is based on the wish to
live in harmony with the nature. On this
day, many Turkish states sets feast tables
