Admission requirements
Masters by Research
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
with a high standard of academic
performance, recognised by the
University to be the equivalent of a threeyear
Australian Bachelor’s Degree.
Doctor of Philosophy
A Master’s degree in a relevant area with
a high standard of academic
performance, recognised by the
University to be the equivalent of a four
year Australian Bachelor’s Degree.
Duration
The duration of a full-time Masters by
Research or PhD program is based
entirely on the presentation of a major
thesis to the satisfaction of the
University’s Higher Degrees Committee.
Admission procedure
The programs for research must be
supervised by one or two members of
the academic staff of the University.
Applicants should indicate their specific
research interest when applying through
the Director, Academic.
Full and partial scholarships are available
for eligible students.
