Equipment: Public Works Equipment Replacement
Description and Purpose:
The Public Works Department vehicles are used for variety of roadway and
public works projects. Vehicles and equipment is replaced based on a vehicle
replacement schedule based on the number of hours of operations and mileage
and service needs.

Justification:
The Public Works Department uses a replacement schedule to minimize the
overall maintenance costs and depreciation loss to the City for equipment
expenditures. The proposed purchases will replace items that range from 8 to
12 years old.
