Project: Gym Floor Replacement
Description and Purpose:
Replace existing gym floor with new tiles, underlayment and molding.

Justification:
The flooring tiles currently in the gym are original to the facility. They are
worn, coming loose in places, and are beginning to pose safety concerns. The
gym has received a large increase in usage with the upgrades at Mingo Park
and the gym floor won’t hold up as is much longer. In order to upgrade
programming, increase the number of activities in the gym, and to maintain
safety the floor needs to be addressed within the next 2 years.
