FATHERS’ L O V E By Efabea Just last month, our mothers were c e l e b r a t e d e v e r y w h e r e , especially from the part of the world I am writing this piece, all manner of programs were held to celebrate mothers. Unfortunately, sometimes Fathers day is never mentioned. The day goes quietly without it being noticed. This th year, on the 17 of June is fathers day. Fathers are wonderful people; they first carry their children as sperm before transferring to mothers. One cannot deny the fact that they play an important role in our lives. God strategically placed the man as the head and covering of a home. the provider of the house we call him, sometimes we expect them to be magicians. Remember the day you told him, “ did I ask you to give birth to me”? please my school fees has to paid”. Do you also remember when you take more than necessary from him under the pretext of buying a book which you never bought? The pressure both you and your mum mount on him when you needed something? Fathers have been created with a thick covering like that of the sheep, when they sweat, they are the only ones who feel, sometimes mum does not even understand him. Their ideas, dreams and vision is to see us become better than themselves. Like God, you never understand them when they take a decision, but in the end, you realize it is the best of decisions they have made. Like mothers, they also have compassion and love for their children. Wondering why?, dad will always say to his friends; “this is my child”;he is more than proud of you. Most of the time we take them for granted and feel our mothers are better than them; with patience they stay by our side and discipline us when we go wrong just to ensure we become responsible people. It's worth noting that a day be set aside to celebrate fathers as well, it is not to say Whether or not, you impregnate a woman, once you are caring and provide and think of making people the best they can be, you are a wonderful father. To all fathers all over the world, well done, we love you and GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU. fathers will not be celebrated on any th other day, it is just to say, on the 17 of June, we love you fathers, for your selflessness, patience, endurance, tolerance and above all your love. Though we take you for granted and sometimes choose our mothers over you, we appreciate and respect your role in our lives. Whether or not, you impregnate a woman, once you are caring and provide and think of making people the best they can be, you are a wonderful father. To all Fathers all over the world, well done, we love you and GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU.
