At 31 December 2006 and 2005 there were no internal costs included in intangible assets. The amount of intangible assets in use and fully amortized intangible assets at 31 December 2006 is not material. As of 31 December 2006 and 2005, the Group estimates that there was no impairment in its intangible assets that led to a reduction in the recoverable value of the assets to below their net carrying amount. Research and development costs recognized as an expense in the consolidated income statements for 2006 and 2005 amounted to €707 thousand and €1,057 thousand, respectively. 7.
