are several large clearly recognizable wadis <strong>in</strong> Arabia. ( )t<br />

<strong>the</strong>se two <strong>in</strong> particular traverse almost <strong>the</strong> entire width ot<br />

<strong>the</strong> land, which are more or less traceable to <strong>the</strong> Euphrates<br />

and <strong>the</strong> Persian Gulf, while dur<strong>in</strong>g and shortly after <strong>the</strong><br />

ra<strong>in</strong>y season through some parts of <strong>the</strong>ir channels real rivers<br />
