We would like to introduce our new <strong>2013</strong> catalogue. As a family business we are tight-knit with our<br />

employees. We are pleased, that through the outstanding effort of everybody, we can introduce this<br />

year again numerous new products.<br />

For example, our precision vice „Avanti“ shows how with simple mechanical principles recuring<br />

clamping situations can be changed over quickly with high repeatability.<br />

We also want to introduce the next generation of machine tool automation with our “Tower•Cell“.<br />

The characteristics that stand out are the increased speed for loading of the machine and the higher<br />

storage capacity.<br />

All workholding and automation systems, which we manufacture for our customers are also in use in<br />

our own production. The experience data which we receive though this is an important factor to the<br />

constant enhancement and improvement of our systems.<br />

Mobile stamping unit<br />

The mobile stamping unit is perfectly fitted for stamping overlong workpieces and clamping them in 2<br />

centring vices subsequently. With the new version of "dual-stamping unit" it is even more convenient<br />

transferring the corresponding set-up onto the machine table.<br />

It is also possible to adjust the distance between<br />

the two stamping vices individually or via the<br />

25 mm pitch of the marking bores.<br />

In addition the marking bores in the steel base plate of the stamping unit are set according to the pitch<br />

Each of the Quick•Point ® plates is also available without<br />

mounting bores or clamping edges. This allows the<br />

modification of the plates to accomodate custom bores<br />

specific to the t-slot pattern of the machine table. In addition<br />

custom keyways can be machined into the underside of<br />

the plate (if necessary with threads for fixed attachment).<br />

These modifications can be done by <strong>LANG</strong> for an<br />

additional charge or by the customers themselves (plates<br />

are case hardened to 57HRc with a depth of 0.7mm)<br />

The standard Quick•Point ® plates with the existing mounting<br />

bores are attached with nuts in the t-slots of the<br />

machine table. The alignment is done with a highly precise<br />

Quick•Point ® Gauge. A probe can measure along the<br />

coordinateground sides of the Gauge and the plate can be<br />

aligned accordingly<br />
