the branch manager to give them
Usually they weren't worth
The manager mistook Mr. Buggeln
An Earnest Plea to Subscribers
Of The Sentinel-Ledger
This Is an earnest plea that Sentinel-ledger subscrtbers notify us
a week or 10 days before they move—either from one location to
another In Ocean City or to or from their winter homes In other ettles.
Many of them are thoughtful enough to do that, but others completely
forget It In the rush of moving. Their oversight results In a
long Interruption of service, waste of precious newsprint and unnecessary
expense to The Sentinel-Ledger.
Because newspapers arc second-class mail, they cannot be forwarded
without first-class postage being attached.
When a subscriber falls to notify us of his change of address,
here's what happens:
The post office notifies The Sentinel-Ledger on a form card. For '
each card The Sentinel-Lodger Is charged 2 cents. The post office
returns the undelivered copy. By that time It Is out ot date «nd can'-' 1
