Glycol spill from nozzle on deicing truck being
repaired. The spill flowed to 25 x 15 ft before
entering the stormdrain both airside and
landside of the hangar.
ServisAir cleaned the spill. Facilities
responded for absorbent removal and
disposal.
O-322 and F3 responded and
Swissport personnel cleaned up the
spill.
The aircraft was removed from the
area and the spill was cleaned by US
Airways.
O-322 responded and Environmental
contacted. Stormwater violation
issued for failing to report in a timely
manner and for allowing the fluid to
enter the stormdrain. The spill was
reported to the National Response
Center (Incident Report # 10354) and
the ADEQ.
