The mean hospitalization stay was 4.2 days (2-11). A follow-up of 12-60 months was recorded. No infections, pseudoarthrosis or hardware failure occurred. All patients with improved intraoperative neuromonitoring recordings demonstrated clinical neurological improvement postoperatively.

Overall, 27 patients improved neurologically, 15 remained neurologically stable, and one had neurological deterioration. The average preoperative Nurick score of 3 dropped to 2.1 postoperatively. Hand function improved in 11 patients.
