The Honorable Ann Aiken became the Chief Judge of the District Court of Oregon on February
1, 2009. Chief Judge Aiken divides her time between the Eugene and Portland Courthouses.
Prior to assuming the role of Chief Judge, she launched the District of Oregon's Reentry Court,
a pilot program for drug offenders, in partnership with U.S. Probation, the U.S. Attorney's office,
the Federal Defender's office, private and non-profit community organizations, and others.
