Built in the late 1800`s in Tecoh, Yucatán. Sotuta de Peón, “Live<br />
Hacienda”, is the restoration project of a landmark located in the<br />
heart of the ancient henequén zone in the <strong>Yucatan</strong> state, and gives<br />
a true glimpse of what was once a fully operational Henequen<br />
Hacienda in the grand style and tradition of this period.<br />
The Hacienda Sotuta de Peon is an excellent option for the bride<br />
and groom, because they can have their wedding ceremony and<br />
reception in one place. As a preamble, guests will tour the<br />
hacienda facilities on small "trucks", which are platforms on top of<br />
train rails pulled by mules, as was done by the original hacienda<br />
workers, and will have a demonstration of how the haciendas<br />
worked in the old times. Sotuta de Peón is in the heart of the<br />
