We are so fortunate to have the
Roths host this annual event
again this year, and thank them
for sharing their lovely home
with us!
Next on our list is the Utah
Woodturning Symposium. this
annual event attracts many
of our SDW members every
year. The event begins with a
get together at Mike and Jenny
Mahoney’s historical home
on Tues the 17th. Don’t forget
Wed the 18th, Craft Supplies
Super Sale ands Demo Day.
Bright and early for their clearance
sale, demos morning and
afternoon, a nice lunch break
and an impressive raffle.
Thursday through Saturday
brings the Symposium. Go
to the web site --- www.
woodturning.com to see the
schedule of events and the
list of great demonstrators
(many World Class!) held at
the McKay Center of the Utah
Valley University. If you can’t
make it this year, be sure to
plan a future trip there with us!
Our SDW Family has lost
another old time member ---
Cecil Treadwell. A former
Marine, Cecil was a true blue
friend and fine person. Our
condolences go out to Bud and
his family.
I know you are all working
very hard on your Fair projects,
