Oliver 167 Lathe for sale
This is a heavy-duty lathe of
the type often used in high
school shop classes. Lathe is
in good condition, although
it could use a paint job. The
variable speed Reeves drive
works perfectly and bearings
are good & tight. The
power switch was modified
to allow motor reversing. I
replaced the spindle (1” x 8
tpi) and motor with a single
phase. Also added a wooden “ballast box” to stabilize the lathe when
turning large objects.
Specifications:
Motor is 1 hp 110/220V, currently
wired for 220v.
Maximum turning radius: 9 ¾”
Bed is 48”
