A departure from our normal fine raffle, this month will will raffle our turnings to suppport our charities; Toys for Tots and Turn-Around for Vets. All proceeds from this month’s raffle will be used to further our donations and support for these two excellent projects. Bring one, two, three or more turning to Picnic at the Roth’s. We’ll sell lots of tickets and you’ll have a chance to expand your collection of turnings from some of the finest turners in the world! See you there. If you’re wondering how to donate one or more of your creations to a worthwhile cause, here’s some suggestions: Bowls for Service Wives Our servicemen are protecting us overseas but their wives and families are holding down the fort at home and also deserve some recognition and our gratitude. Ray Brooks is collecting small bowls and boxes to be presented to the service wives at the holidays. Please contact Ray if you are able to help. If you would like to contribute, please bring some of your artwork to one of our club meetings and give them to any board member, or give the listed person a call and we’ll make arrangements for a pick up.
