An Offer
To Refuse
'Round about this time of year many administrators on campus
nervously begin munching their fingernails in dreadful anticipation of
that traditional day in spring when almost anything goes - River Day.
- In an attempt to change the hell raising tradition which has
characterized River Day in the past, several student groups have
coordinated efforts and money to present River Day in an atmosphere
of organized celebration. In addition, Marist has kicked in a sum of
$500, not only to get the party rolling, but to prevent other expenses
which might be incurred by Marist studentsihtoxicated by the spirit of
River Days past which were reckless, uncontrolled and just plain
..crazy. •. ;. r • •'•-".."
