Noosa boasts pristine beaches and expansive hinterland, creating a beautiful and diverse landscape from the Glasshouse Mountains to Fraser Island. Australis Noosa Lakes is the ideal place for the 2010 FAMM Convention. The weather was a perfect 24 degrees and that was in early June, the Convention will be earlier in mid May, the weather will be just as great so bring your shorts and swimmers. Australis Noosa Lakes is set on seven acres on the shores of Lake Doonella and is within a stones throw of the marina where you can catch a short picturesque ferry ride to famous Hastings Street with its many boutique shops and eateries. Or there is a choice of eateries at the marina and if that doesn’t satisfy your appetite then a short fifteen minute stroll up a slight rise will bring you to the quaint shopping village of Upper level suite kitchen facilities Tewantin Lower level suite Kitchenette facilities The Sunshine Coast airport is a 30 minute drive from the resort, and the Shuttle bus connection from the airport costs about $23 per person. The Australis Noosa Lakes has 126 rooms with balconies and views over the pool, lake or river. Each unit has a TV, direct dial telephone (IDD/STD) and bedside radio alarm clock. Studio rooms have microwave, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. One and two bedroom apartments have full kitchen facilities. Plus ironing board, washer and dryer, hair dryers and guest amenities. Disabled rooms are also available. All units are air conditioned. The units are either ground floor or first floor accommodation. There are two suites A view from a suite balcony to each unit, an upper level reached by a flight of stairs or a lower level. The lower suite has a fridge, microwave and tea making facilities. The upper suite has full kitchen facilities with a dish washer.
