The Editing Process
Step 1– Drag the tracks so that the audio waveforms line up.
The waveforms (tracks)
should now be roughly
aligned as shown to the
left. If you study the
waveform carefully, you
will see how the wave
peaks and troughs line
up. You can test the accuracy
of the synchronisation
by listening to playback.
All the tracks
should sound as one. You
can see the advantage of
having the camera running
continuously. Once
one section of the tracks
are aligned, all of the
tracks are fully aligned
from start to finish.
You should now zoom in
to the time line and make
fine alignment adjustments
as shown on the
next page.
