Energy Series Specification
At Tsubaki we understand Oilfield grade. Our vast experience in providing sprockets and machined
components to your industry has lead us to the development of the Energy Series specification.
When you ask for Energy Series sprockets you get a list of standard features unique to the
oilfield industry that provide confidence and value. (Energy Series sprockets are identified
with the prefix EN).

Brass dowels are milled into the face of the plate
at the precise calculated depth position
• Eliminates the guesswork of opinion
vs. mathematical fact
• Preventative maintenance feature providing
insurance against premature chain wear
• Flame hardened not Induction. Flame hardening
provides the best combination of strength and
wearability because ductility remains in the root
of the tooth whereas induction hardens everything
• Minimum tooth hardness of 35Rc. Higher hardness
can be achieved to customer specification
• Fully machine-cut precision quality
• Solidworks model provided after order stage
• Certified documentation with minimum hardness
and depth specification
• Coupon testing provided on request
• Milled serialized identification.
