2.0 Continued
Acra Prospect
Heron’s field mapping at Acra has identified a 700x300m zone of poorly outcropping olivine cumulate lithologies.
Previous drilling has confirmed the presence of nickel laterite mineralisation at the target zone northern margin.
* ”Ni4Co% x m” for a drill intercept is the value of %Ni plus 4 times %Co of the interval multiplied by the intercept in metres.
A 160x80m RC drilling program has commenced, with eight holes drilled for 154m. Analytical results are awaited.
As well as nickel laterite at Acra, zones of pervasive low grade nickel sulphide mineralisation have been previously
drilled, associated with olivine orthocumulate lithologies. Heron has designed an Electro-Magnetic ground survey
coverage to follow up the target, including zones of gossan occurrences. High grade supergene gold targets have
been identified by Heron through a review of previous exploration data. The peak previous drill intercepts are 1m at
43-85g/t Au. These gold targets will be offered for farm-out.
Mining Lease applications have been lodged on all nickel and gold resource targets which are identified at Acra.
Binti Binti Prospect
Binti Binti is the only granted tenement within the Kurnalpi Nickel project area. The Prospect is located 80km NE of
Kalgoorlie immediately north of the Kalpini Nickel Project. The tenement comprises a wedge of northerly striking
interlayered komatiite, basalt and felsic volcanic rock. Alluvium and laterite obscures bedrock.
Aircore and RAB drilling carried out by previous explorers has delineated lateritic nickel-cobalt mineralisation.
Significant intersections at a 1.0% Ni cut-off include:
• 10m at 1.14% Ni, 0.12% Co
• 6m at 1.28% Ni, 0.15% Co
• 4m at 1.18% Ni, 0.07% Co
• 4m at 1.14% Ni, 0.10% Co.
The currently estimated Inferred Mineral Resource is 2.8 million tonne at 0.91% Ni and 0.092% Co at a 0.75%
Ni cut-off. Cobalt is particularly elevated. Resource definition drilling is planned on a 160x80m pattern once the
current Goongarrie drilling has been completed. Drill collars have been surveyed, access prepared and a DME
Ground Disturbance Application lodged ahead of drilling. Rehabilitation has commenced in the drilling areas of
previous tenement holders. Expenditure to date at Binti Binti has been $0.17 million.
2.2.3 Menzies East Joint Venture Project
Heron 100%. Golden State Resources Limited right to earn 60% through spending $0.25m.
Gold (- nickel).
The 8km 2 project area covering 8 tenements is located 112km NNW of Kalgoorlie, on the eastern flank of the Scotia
Kanowna Anticline associated with the Moriaty Shear Zone. Golden State has completed a detailed soil
geochemistry-aeromagnetic evaluation to assist in target generation. This study has highlighted the NW project area
as Golden State’s exploration focus. Expenditure to date has been approximately $0.15 million.
Photo Strip: In the heat of the day, the drill mast is the only source of shade. On rocky outcrops, nickel grades tend to be
low. Out on the flats, the ultramafic host rocks are more strongly weathered, and nickel grades improve accordingly.
