* ”Ni4Co% x m” for a drill intercept is the value of %Ni plus 4 times %Co of the interval multiplied by the intercept in metres.
Given that in Nickel Laterite, a value of 15 for Ni4Co% x m is considered a good result, the values returned at Goongarrie
South are exceptional. It is important to note the areal extent of the above intercepts, 7.52 km N-S by 2.00 km E-W.
Photo Strip: The drill samples are collected from the drill rig in polyester bags. Within a month of drilling, once
Heron has completed all analyses, the ore sample is tipped out in sequential rows on the ground, and the polyester bags
removed from site.
‘Bill’s Mine’ Marika Smith “Around the mine are some plants and trees.
The colour of the earth at the mine was green, yellow, grey and purple.”
