We pray for xs erc6llency, the Governor of this State,
for the members of the Assembly, for all judges, magistrates,
and other officers who are appointed to guard our
political welfare, that they &y ke enabled, by Thy
powerful proteation, to discharge the duties of their
respective stations with honesty and ability.
We recoinmend likewise, to Thy unbounded mercy,
all our brethren and fellow-citizens throughout the
United States, that they may be blessed in the knowledge
and sssaified in the observance of Thy mbst holy law;
that they may be p~~served in union, and in that peace
which the1 world a n tlot give; .and after enjoying the
blessings aE this fife, be admitted to tliose which are
eternst. \
Finally, we pray to Thee, 0 Lord of mercy, to remem-
beq the souls d Thyi servants dopad who are gone
bthm with tb~ sign of faith, and repose in the sleep
of peace; the souls of our parents, relath, and friends;
of those who, wben living, werk members of this congregation,
and particuIarly of such as are lately deceased;
of all benefactors who, by their donations or
legacies to this chdrch, witnessed their zeal for the decency
of divh wonhip and proved their daim to our
grateful add chsrritable remambrahce. To these, 0
