HEN our divine Saviour beheld the cross, He
stretched out His bleeding arms toward it with
eagek desi~e, lovin ly embraced it, tender& kissed it,
and, placing it on 4 s bruised shouldem, joyfully carried
it, although He was worn and weary unto death.
