sacred Heart, and in consideration also of the sorrows
of the immaculate heart of Mary, of the
heroic deeds of all the saints and of the torments of
all the martyrs; I implore Thee to have pity on
the souls of the faithful departed now suffering in
purgatory.
To thy mercy I recommend especially the souls
of my relatives, friends, and benefactors, and of
all those for whom I have promised to pray.
V. Eternal rest give to them, 0 Lord;
R. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
Indulgence of 50 days lor each recitation of this versicle

Recite slowly and devoutly the sublime prayer which
Jesus Himself taught His disciples.
OUR Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy
name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our
daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
