ommend - to Thee my father, mother, brothers,
sisters, relations, friends, and benefactors.
Through the wound in Thy left hand, my enemies,
all poor sinners, and those who have never
been baptized. Help Thy servants who ere trying
to convert them.
Through the wound in Thy right foot I pray for
the poor, the sick, and the dying, and for all who
are in any kind of pain, temptation, or trouble.
Through the wound in Thy left joot I beg of
Thee mercifully to grant eternal rest to the souls of
the faithful departed, especially N.N. .
Through Thy sacred Heart, 0 Jesus, I offer
myself to do and suffer all things for Thy love.
Give me all the graces I stand in need of to do what
is most pleasing to Thee, and especially the grace
of perseverance. Grant me, in particular, the
favor I implore and desire to obtain through Thy
clemency by assisting this day at the holy sacrifice
of the Mass.
Contemplate Jesus hanging on the cross, and adore the
same Jesus here present on the altar; loek at the sacred
Host and say with strong faith, firm hope, tender love,
and earnest devotion:
