N UNION with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, my
Saviour, and in commemoration of that
sublime oblation which Thy well-beloved Son
offered Thee upon the hallowed cross, I humbly
offer Thee, eternal Father, this holy sacrifice: to
the honor and glory of Thy holy name; in thanksgiving
for all the blessings and benefits I have re?
ceived from Thee; in satisfaction for my sins; in
the hope of obtaining Thy divine assistance in all
my necessities and afflictions, and for the succor
and solace of the living and the dead. Accept
this oblation, 0 merciful God and Father; let my
intention be pleasing in Thy sight; hear and grant
my petitions. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
