Graat me Thy sevenfold gift, in order that I may
with ardent love follow Christ, and with perseverance
walk in the way of salvation.
As my faith in The, my God, is strong and invincible,
so my hope and my c owjke in Thee are
supreme and impregnable.
I am fully convinced that Thou dost watch
over all those who hope in Thee and I am resolved
henceforth to live without anxiety and to
cast all my cate upon Thee. From Thy goodness
and mercy, 0 Lord, I hope to obtain perseverance
in grace and eternal happiness.
In peace I will sleep and I will rest: for Thou,
0 Lord, hast wonderfully established me in hope
(Ps. iv. 9, 10). And as I betieve and hope in Thee,
w do I love Thee, my God, with all the strength of
my sml, with my whde heart.
I love Thee above all things, because Thou art
the highest and most perfect good.
