The Sovereign Pontiff, Benedict XIV, in the brief,
Qlcemodmodum, Dec. 16, 1746, granted to all the faithful
who shall make mental rayer devoutly for half an hour, or
d least for a quarter o! an hour, every day, for a month,
a F7sary inddgeh, once a month, on the day when, being
truly penitent, after confession and communion, they shall
pray devoutly for peace and union among Christian princes,
for the extirpation of heresy, and for the trimph of Holy
Mother Church.
