granted <strong>the</strong>se indulgences to all <strong>the</strong> flithful who may happen<br />

to dwell in a place where no bell for <strong>the</strong> dead is sounded,<br />

provided <strong>the</strong>y shall say <strong>the</strong> De profundzs, or <strong>the</strong> Our<br />

Fathcr, and <strong>the</strong> Hail Mary, etc., about nightfall.<br />

Have mercy, 0 Lord, have mercy on <strong>the</strong> poor souls<br />

in purgatory.<br />
