In Greece the available data at nati<strong>on</strong>al level is too scarce to draw a quantitative picture.<br />

There are about 270 NGOs active <strong>in</strong> child and youth work. However, the actual number may<br />

be larger s<strong>in</strong>ce many NGO´s offer certa<strong>in</strong> services to children and young people even though<br />

they do not specialise <strong>in</strong> youth work. There are 50 youth <strong>in</strong>formati<strong>on</strong> centres. In 2005, they<br />
