D — C<strong>on</strong>trol Butt<strong>on</strong>s<br />
Five butt<strong>on</strong>s are used to enter informati<strong>on</strong> and c<strong>on</strong>trol your<br />
Kool Kare units operati<strong>on</strong>:<br />
• RESTART cancels any informati<strong>on</strong> entered and begins the<br />
program selecti<strong>on</strong> sequence as if the tester were just<br />
powered up.<br />
• AMOUNT displays refrigerant quantity in recovery tank and<br />
amount chargeable.<br />
• Three butt<strong>on</strong>s with variable functi<strong>on</strong>s depending <strong>on</strong> the<br />
screen display.<br />
E — Main Power Switch<br />
Turns power <strong>on</strong> and off. Must be <strong>on</strong> (I) for unit operati<strong>on</strong>.<br />
F — Oil Charge Hand Valve<br />
For c<strong>on</strong>trolling the amount of new oil put into vehicle A/C<br />
system.<br />
G — Oil Charge Bottle<br />
C<strong>on</strong>tainer for holding new oil.<br />
H — Moisture Indicator<br />
Shows the amount of moisture in the recycled refrigerant.<br />
I — Oil Separator Light/Switch<br />
Used to manually enter the maintenance mode for oil separator<br />
bowl maintenance. For additi<strong>on</strong>al informati<strong>on</strong> refer to Chapter<br />
3–Maintaining the Oil Separator Bowl.<br />
J — Oil Separator<br />
Removes oil and other c<strong>on</strong>taminant’s from the refrigerant being<br />
recycled.<br />
K — Beeper<br />
Beeps to indicate successful completi<strong>on</strong> of programmed<br />
sequence and other c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>s.<br />
L — Tray<br />
Use for tool and adapter storage.<br />
