The PCC Christmas Banquet<br />
...will be on Dec.18th at 6:00 to 9:30 pm.<br />
The program will be given by Moramay<br />
Flores on Guadalajara, Mexico. Sue Marx<br />
will be asking for volunteers to help with<br />
table setting and food arranging. Meat,<br />
drinks, plates and silverware are provided.<br />
Please bring a dish to pass...casserole, vegetable,<br />
fruit, or dessert. Be sure to attend the<br />
banquet for a good program and good food.<br />
At the next few meetings, Sue will pass<br />
around a sign-up sheet for the banquet.<br />

with 5 images or spend no more than 5 minutes<br />
on a topic of your choice. Also if a meeting happens<br />
to run short, we may have time for an unscheduled<br />
5x5 showing. Have a thumb drive always handy and<br />

Actual scores for all eligible digital images ranged from 16 to 27<br />
A = Accepted image, H = Honor image, M = Medal (Best of Category)
CICCA Fall Salon <strong>Club</strong> Standings<br />
Out of the 50 entries, our club scored an Acceptance or higher on 29 of them.There were<br />
15 Honors,13 Acceptances, and, most notably, Vickie Padesky’s 1 Medal for Best of Show<br />
in the Nature category for her “Golden Lotus” image.<br />
There are sixteen clubs in the CICCA organization. Ten clubs received awards during the<br />
2012 CICCA Fall Salon. <strong>Peoria</strong> <strong>Camera</strong> <strong>Club</strong> came in 4th place. All of the PCC awards came<br />
from digital images. No PCC member entered prints. We could have done much better if<br />
Members had entered the print <strong>com</strong>petitions.<br />

Here are the rules...<br />
• The theme for this <strong>com</strong>petition is Vintage.<br />
• Actual Vintage Photos are not allowed.<br />
• Images must have been shot since January 15, 2012.<br />
• They should be photos of “Vintage” people or things. Vintage items include<br />
those characterized by excellence, maturity and enduring appeal.<br />
Things that are certain period of time may also be considered Vintage.<br />
• Image pixel size limits not over 1024 horizontal x 768 vertical.<br />
• File naming convention is: image#-14-your <strong>com</strong>petition number-title.jpg<br />
Example: 001-14-079-Retired Gate.jpg<br />
If you do not have a <strong>com</strong>petition number call Rich Seeman.<br />
• Turn in is between now and December 4, 2012.<br />
• Send up to 8 images of vintage things by email to Rich Seeman at<br />
<strong>RLS1940@hotmail</strong>.<strong>com</strong><br />
From all images submitted to Rich, a PCC team will select 50 to be entered from our<br />
club. Because the limit is 50, all of your images might not be entered. If possible,<br />
everyone submitting images will have at least one image entered.<br />
Help our <strong>Club</strong> show the KodaRoamers what Vintage Photography is all about.<br />
The prize is bragging rights for our <strong>Club</strong>.<br />
If you don’t have any images of Vintage Subjects, go out and shoot some. J<br />
