7.1 Valve<br />

<strong>ToneLab</strong> LE contains a 12AX7 (ECC83) valve (“vacuum tube”).<br />

NOTE: The valve cover or the valve may break if either is subjected to impact.<br />

If the valve cover breaks, please have it replaced. Failure to replace a damaged valve cover<br />

may lead to the valve itself becoming damaged.<br />

7.2 STANDBY switch<br />

Turns the power on/off.<br />

7.3 ~AC9V<br />

Connect the included AC/AC power supply here.<br />

7.4 INPUT jack<br />

Connect your guitar to this jack.<br />

7.5 INSERT jacks (SEND, RETURN)<br />

You can connect an external effect processor or stompbox to these jacks.<br />

Connect SEND to the input of your external effect device.<br />

Connect RETURN to the output of your external effect device.<br />

7.6 OUTPUT jacks (L/MONO, R)<br />

These are analog output jacks. If you’re using a mono output, connect the L/MONO jack.<br />

7.7 LEVEL knob<br />

Adjusts the output level from the OUTPUT jacks and the HEADPHONES jack.<br />

7.8 HEADPHONES jack (stereo)<br />

Connect your headphones to this jack.<br />

7.9 MIDI OUT connector<br />

This connector transmits MIDI data. Use it when you want to control a connected external<br />

MIDI device.<br />

7.10 MIDI IN connector<br />

This connector receives MIDI data. Use it when you want to control <strong>ToneLab</strong> LE from a connected<br />

external MIDI device.<br />

7.11 S/P DIF OUT connector<br />

This connector transmits S/P DIF optical digital data.<br />
