5.4.6 Angle proportionality factor
The angle proportionality factor (r AS ) is defined as the ratio between the standard deviation of the azimuth
angles of the multipath components and the RMS azimuth spread. This parameter is needed in channel
model.
5.4.6.1 Scenario A1
The angle proportionality factor is shown in the Table 5.18 below for an indoor (A1) environment for the
different LOS and NLOS propagation conditions.

5.4.6.2 Scenario B1
The r AS has been extracted for signals arrive at (or depart from) the MS both in LOS and NLOS. Figure
5.40 shows the results for MS terminal in both LOS and NLOS. The corresponding results for the BS are
shown in Figure 5.41.
The percentiles for the CDF of the angle proportionality factor in scenario B1 at the MS and at the BS are
shown in Table 5.19 and Table 5.20, respectively.
