Teams: Teams will be made up of 3 or 4 horse & rider combinations, these can be open or restricted riders. Each team should ideally include a Grade Ia, Ib or II, no team can contain more than 2 riders from Grades Ia, Ib or II. Each team must have no more than 2 riders from any one grade. Each region can initially send 2 teams of 4, organisers will advise all RDO’s if there is space for additional teams. The Team results are calculated as follows: In all team Competitions the winning team is the one having the highest percentage. %ages from both days will be added together and the scores added together of their three best Athletes, the second placed team is the one with the next highest percentage and so on. In case of equality of percentages, the winning team is the one (1) whose third placed athlete out of the best three (3) has the best result. Dress Code: Blue or black jackets must be worn with headgear in accordance with British Dressage Para rules. Those selected to compete as team members are entitled to wear their nation’s pocket badge (England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales – NB not the Union flag) on their competition jacket and saddle cloths for the duration of the Home International. Flags to be removed immediately after the competition. Flags must be fixed onto the left breast of the competition coat. Flags should also be worn on saddle cloths for the competition. General Entry Information: Entries must be submitted by the Regional Development Officer or the Para Rep from each region on the official entry form supplied. Entries to be sent to: Check with your Regional Development Officer where to send entries as these may be sent via the RDO or the Para Rep Entry Fees: £200/team competition Cheques made payable to: Vale View Equestrian Warm up classe, KBIS Qualifiers & Freestyle Classes: Closing date for entries 21 st May 2012. Entry fee £18.00 per class payable to Vale View Equestrian Prizes awarded overall : 1 st £20, 2 nd £15 & 3 rd £10 Payable in accordance with BD Rule 40

Stabling – £45 per night includes unlimited straw bedding, shavings can be purchased on site if preferred. Riders wishing to stable for a 3 rd night cost will be £20. You may bring your own bedding but paper is not permitted. Parking: Lorries will be parked in regional/team groups. Please report to the Secretary on arrival to see where your team is parked if the car park attendant in not at the gate. Arena Walks The time for the arena walks on Saturday and Sunday mornings will be given out at the Chef’s meeting. General Rules: Normal BD Para championship rules apply . No whips or commanders are permitted in any test unless specified on the riders profile card. Grading points will not be awarded. Riders must be eligible to ride at the level which they intend to compete in accordance with the rules above. Entertainment: A welcome reception with glass of wine will be held on Friday evening,from 7.00pm the cafe will remain open until 8pm for riders. There will be a BBQ on Saturday evening which must be booked at the time of entry £10 per person (weather permitting) an alternative will be provided if we are rained off.
