TIMES:<br />
Times for the Team Competition (Classes 1-10 & 22-31) will be drawn Friday evening<br />
7pm in the cafe.<br />
Times for all other classes will be available on the website<br />

31 st May <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
Prizes: Rosettes, prizes, and sashes will be awarded to the winning team on the the<br />
second day.<br />
Prize givings will take place in the xx arena all riders should attend in competition dress<br />
unmounted.<br />
Conditions of Entry:<br />
Riders must be members (14 and over at 1 st January <strong>2012</strong>) of <strong>British</strong> <strong>Dressage</strong> or<br />
<strong>Dressage</strong> Ireland.<br />
Riders must not have competed at FEI 3* competition since January 2008.<br />
Horses must be 5 years or over .<br />

Riders must be eligible to compete in the restricted or open section in accordance<br />
with BD rules.<br />
No grading points will be awarded for this competition.
Teams:<br />
Teams will be made up of 3 or 4 horse & rider combinations, these can be open or<br />
restricted riders. Each team should ideally include a Grade Ia, Ib or II, no team can<br />
contain more than 2 riders from Grades Ia, Ib or II.<br />
Each team must have no more than 2 riders from any one grade.<br />
Each region can initially send 2 teams of 4, organisers will advise all RDO’s if there is<br />
space for additional teams.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Team results are calculated as follows: In all team Competitions the winning team<br />
is the one having the highest percentage. %ages from both days will be added together<br />
and the scores added together of their three best Athletes, the second placed team is the<br />
one with the next highest percentage and so on. In case of equality of percentages, the<br />
winning team is the one (1) whose third placed athlete out of the best three (3) has the<br />
best result.<br />
Dress Code:<br />
Blue or black jackets must be worn with headgear in accordance with <strong>British</strong> <strong>Dressage</strong><br />
<strong>Para</strong> rules.<br />
Those selected to compete as team members are entitled to wear their nation’s pocket<br />
badge (England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales – NB not the Union flag) on their<br />
competition jacket and saddle cloths for the duration of the <strong>Home</strong> <strong>International</strong>. Flags<br />
to be removed immediately after the competition. Flags must be fixed onto the left<br />
breast of the competition coat. Flags should also be worn on saddle cloths for the<br />
competition.<br />
General Entry Information:<br />
Entries must be submitted by the Regional Development Officer or the <strong>Para</strong> Rep from<br />
each region on the official entry form supplied.<br />

Stabling/Parking<br />
On site stabling in both temporary boxes (as used at Hickstead).<br />
Stabling – £45 per night includes unlimited straw bedding, shavings can be purchased on site if<br />
preferred.<br />
Riders wishing to stable for a 3 rd night cost will be £20.<br />
You may bring your own bedding but paper is not permitted.<br />
Parking: Lorries will be parked in regional/team groups. Please report to the Secretary<br />
on arrival to see where your team is parked if the car park attendant in not at the gate.<br />
Arena Walks<br />
<strong>The</strong> time for the arena walks on Saturday and Sunday mornings will be given out at the<br />
Chef’s meeting.<br />
General Rules:<br />
Normal BD <strong>Para</strong> championship rules apply . No whips or commanders are permitted in<br />
any test unless specified on the riders profile card. Grading points will not be awarded.<br />
Riders must be eligible to ride at the level which they intend to compete in accordance<br />
with the rules above.<br />
Entertainment:<br />
A welcome reception with glass of wine will be held on Friday evening,from 7.00pm<br />
the cafe will remain open until 8pm for riders.<br />
<strong>The</strong>re will be a BBQ on Saturday evening which must be booked at the time of entry<br />
£10 per person (weather permitting) an alternative will be provided if we are rained off.<br />
