SHORT TENDER CALL NOTICE<br />
Sealed Tenders are invited from the intending reputed and VAT registered<br />
resellers/ suppliers/ Authorised dealers of Nuapada District only, having some<br />
experience in this job for supply and fixing/fitting of Street lights. The details can also<br />
be down loaded from the Website http://www.nuapada.nic.in. The Tender papers can<br />
also be obtained from District Planning and Monitoring Unit, Nuapada up to 1.00<br />
P.M. of dated 26.03.2012. The sealed Tender should reach the Deputy Director<br />
(Planning & Statistics), DPMU, Nuapada on or before 26.03.2012 up to 3.00 P.M. and<br />
opened on the same day at 4.00 P.M. by the Tender Committee in presence of the<br />
tenderers or their authorised agents in the Conference Hall near the office of Collector,<br />
Nuapada. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders<br />
without assigning any reason thereof.<br />

TERMS <strong>AND</strong> CONDITIONS<br />
1. The rate of supply of each light fitting should be inclusive of all taxes/ transportation/<br />
Labourer charges etc. per piece. The light fitting to be purchased is of Bajaj Light product; code<br />
No.162344 BJMSDT 03 85 RF CFL FG E40 Retrofit CFL 1 x 85 Watt. The rate of this light per<br />
piece should be quoted for the particular model or in case of on-availability some other CFL lights of<br />
Bajaj make with approximately similar price range may be quoted.<br />
2. The fixing/ fitting charges with antitheft measures per piece/ pole should be mentioned<br />
separately.<br />
3. The tenderers have to deposit the E.M.D./ security of<br />
(a) Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) only along with the tender in shape of Bank F.D.R.<br />
duly pledged in favour of Collector, Nuapada failing which the quotation will be rejected out<br />
rightly.<br />
4. The successful tenderer should supply and fix/fit the Street Light within 10 days as per the<br />
poles/ places identified by the concerned authority. If the tenderer fails to supply/ complete the<br />
fitting work within the specified date, the order would stand automatically cancelled and the EMD/<br />
security will be forfeited.<br />
5. The sealed tenders in plain papers should accompany the attested photocopies of the<br />
following documents.<br />
(i) Income Tax PAN card-copy<br />
(ii) Up-to-date Sale Tax/ VAT clearance certificate (at least up to 31.03.2011) and TIN<br />
No.<br />
(iii) Photo copy of the Registration Certificate<br />
(iv) Places/ Address of godowns with capacity and Nos. of godowns under his occupation<br />
for the business.<br />
(v) Photo copy of the Dealership certificate or reseller letter from the company, and the<br />
printed company rate of materials for which the rate has been quoted.<br />
(vi) Any other relevant documents lawfully required by the Committee.<br />
The original certificate shall be produced to execute an agreement with the Collector,<br />
Nuapada for fixing/ fitting of street light.<br />
6. The tenders received beyond the stipulated date and time or without all required documents<br />
shall be liable for rejection and will not be entertained. The Authority will not be responsible for<br />
postal or any other delay for receiving of tender papers.<br />
7. The undersigned reserves every right to reject/ cancel any or all tenders without assigning<br />
any reasons therefore.<br />
8. The tenderers should bear the responsibility for fixing and fitting of Street Lights at specified<br />
places, street, pole and he should bear the loss or damage during transit or any damage,<br />
compensation to the labourers engaged during fixing.<br />
9. The Dealers/ distributors should not compete for the particular item of product when the<br />
factory/ manufacturing industry of the said product comes forward to file tenders for supply, in that<br />
case, the tender of other dealers/ distributors will be liable for rejection without assigning any reason<br />
therefor.<br />
10. The tenderers should file tender for each item separately super scribing on the top of the<br />
envelop/ cover.
