Once the registration type is selected the corresponding data screens will appear and data
can be filled in. For each registration type the user can select the Acts and their
corresponding Sections from the respective drop down list.
3. Investigation
This module facilitates the Investigating Officer (IO) to record the information of
developments / progresses as and when taking place / made by the IO during the course
of investigation e.g. arrest / surrender of accused, seizure of properties, witness
statements recorded etc. and also facilitate entering the text of his Case Diary.
In Progress Type the following events are covered :
• Crime Details captured
• Chance Fingerprint Report received from expert
• Accused / Victim / Property Details
• Accused Arrested / Surrendered
• Accused Fingerprints sent to FPB / NCRB matching
• Accused Fingerprints Matching Report received from FPB / NCRB
• Accused Information Sheet sent to concerned PS
• Accused released on bail by Police / Court
• Accused sent to Police Remand / Judicial Custody
• Properties Seizure Form
• Property deposited in Malkhana
• Property matched with stolen / involved
• Property released from Malkhana
• Property sent for Analysis to FSL etc.
• Property Analysis Report received from FSL etc.
• Property presented in the Court
• Witness Details captured
• Missing Person reported
• Missing Person traced
• UIDB matched in the Missing Person
• MLC deposited in Hospital
