Implementation Status
Implemented all over the District at one District Sub-Registration (DSR) Office,
eight Additional District Sub-Registration (ADSR) Offices and one Sub-
Registration (SR) Office viz., DSR Office Howrah, ADSR Office Howrah, ADSR
Office Ranihati, ADSR Office Uluberia, ADSR Office Bagnan, ADSR Office
Shyampur, ADSR Office Domjur, ADSR Office Bargachhia, ADSR Office Amta
and SR Office Pancharul Samantanagar, in phases, during July 2007 to September
2007.
Technical Specificiations
Development Platform : Windows 2000 Server, SQL Server 2000, Visual Basic
6.0, Document Imaging Software and Crystal Report.
Post Developmental / Post Implementation Role of NIC
NIC has taken the lead role in all technical advice for the project as well as maintaining
and upgrading CORD. Scope of the software is being extended. New services are being
suggested for its implementation with an aim to better the citizen service.
