A fitness event like Poland has never before seen!
The fifth edition of the most active fair event in Poland – FIT-EXPO Fitness & Sport
Park, starts on the grounds of the Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie on 7 May 2010.
It will last 3 days. It will be the place to be!
Organizers have prepared as much as six social events – among them, premiering at
the fair will be an aqua fitness convention in a gigantic pool, with a combined surface
area of 90 m 2 and capacity of 100 000 litres of water!
The market leaders who will be present at the fair promise many Polish and even
international market premieres!
Fitness is not only a synonym for healthy lifestyle, good fun, and recreation, but also successful
business. Market research indicates that the fitness trade in Poland continues to dynamically develop,
and the active lifestyle is gaining more and more followers. FIT-EXPO Fitness & Sport Park meets the
needs of the trade, enabling the exchange of experiences, business contacts, and visions related with

in the EU4YA International Fitness Convention, the lessons and marathon of the Indoor Cycling
Evolution Ride 2010, the water exercises at the first ever AQUA Klubben Convention, and also the
shows and speed badminton tournaments during Speed Badminton Park 2010. For the second year in
a row Fit-Expo will also host Capoeira aficionados during Explosao - World Festival Grupo Capoeira
Brasil. These are just some of the attractions awaiting participants of the upcoming edition of FIT-

New releases at the fair!
Among the many new releases presented at the fair, the most attention will surely be focused on
products that will be having their Polish and even world premiere at FIT-EXPO!
Cybex will introduce the never before presented in the world, three-module multi-functional device
MG-525, which enables universal training of the shoulders, back, chest, and legs. The company’s
product, which will be making its Polish market premiere, is the Bravo Functional Rainer – a device
that enables exercising practically every muscle group. Another absolutely new release on the Polish
fitness market will be the Arc Trainer 750AT – a modern line of equipment offered by Accuro-Sumer,
for both Cardio and weight training.
For the first time in Poland, thanks to Ekspertfitness.com, making its Polish market debut will be
KRANKING® – an innovative agility-stamina training device for upper body parts, which complements
cardio, weight, and Indoor Cycling training.
As many as four Polish premieres will be among Matmarco’s offer. They will be CROSSOVER cardio
machines, which strengthen muscles to stabilize the spine, improving balance and movement
coordination, CLUB 2.0 – specialist software enabling the easy and quick determination of individual
profile needs of new and current club members, VISIO WEB Digital Platform and COMMUNICATOR
system used in Cardio equipment combining training direction, visualization of its effects, multimedia,
entertainment, and education, as well as a modernized version of the multifunctional trainer - VARIO
Excite+ 500.
Numerous new releases will be presented by Star Trac®, including a program that provides motivation
and running technique knowledge – Star Trac® treadmills with Virtual Coach, eSpinner® modern
training bike that enables individual exercising coordinated by a computer with an additional display
loaded with a Spinning® virtual training program. Also presented at the fair will be exclusive
equipment in the isolated machine sector for weight training - Star Trac® Inspiration combines
functionality, exceptional biomechanics, and a modern, elegant design.
Debuting on the Polish market during FIT-EXPO will be the “Sasaki Photon” capsule from Provitale,
which with the aid of infrared influences the improved exchange of materials, loss of excess kilograms,
cellulite reduction, reduction of joint stiffness, and decreases stress and fatigue.
Zamawiamwizyte.pl will present an innovative system for the efficient management of calendar events,
which facilitates a client’s booking of appointments, even after salon hours, and reminds clients about
an upcoming appointment via SMS.
Business in the fitness trade, step by step
FIT-EXPO is much more than just an exposition of products; it is also an academy of trade know-how
and incubator of innovative fitness club development strategies during the Fitness Marketing Event
conference, which this time will last two days (7-8 May). It is the largest fitness conference in Poland,
presenting multidimensional views at trade issues. Meeting topics concentrate on fitness marketing
challenges, as well as experiences and good practices in the fitness trade. During the conference,
such issues will be discussed as: service quality at fitness clubs, legal aspects surrounding the playing

of music at fitness clubs, equipment manufacturer offers, fitness club computerization, brand building,
and gaining clients through networking and references, as well as changes to the approach of
societies in developed countries to recreation and health, using the development of new fitness
training concepts as an example. Presented will also be a history of fitness club successes from
Europe.
Lectures will be delivered by, among others, Frank Noreiks – director of IFAA Germany, and Peter
Brown – director of Wellness Management Ltd. Also sharing his wealth of experience will be Dr. Mark
Slavin, an American specialist who for over 20 years has been involved in fitness trade education and
training, and Steve Jack - renowned fitness coach in the scope of physical education, psychology and
energy recovery.
During this year’s edition workshops will be held, at which professionals will involve participants in
creating projects and developing knowledge and competences. Efforts will be awarded with a Fitness
Marketing 2010 Certificate, confirmed with the signatures of prominent researchers.
Handed out for the first time in Poland, during the 4 th Fitness Marketing Event will be Fitness
Marketing Awards. Prominent professionals from the fitness and sports marketing trades will award
distinctions in four categories: Fitness Club Network, Fitness Club with Fitness Brand Passion, and
Fitness Marketing Project.
Professional training
Instructors and aficionados that care about physical conditioning and are set on a healthy lifestyle,
want to familiarize themselves with choreographic fitness trends and experience real training euphoria
under the watchful eye of instructors of international renown are invited to take pare in the 4 th EU4YA
International Fitness Convention. This year the activities in the large hall and workshops will also be
accompanied by lessons-trainings: Freestyler and WalkExercise. The lessons will be led by
charismatic international fitness trainers: Doro Giera, Alessandro Olivieri, Luciano Mottola, Andreas
Sasse, Gabriel Francisco, Tom Woll, Daniela Česneková, Enrico Ceron, Lionel Obringer. There will
also be no lack of Polish instructors of established renown, representing five fitness schools: Reebok
University, Profi Fitness School, IFAA, Masters Edukacja w Fitnessie, Zumba fitness.
An attraction during this year’s edition of Fit-Expo will surely be the first ever two-day AQUA Klubben
Convention. For this occasion, set-up in one of the fair’s pavilions will be gigantic pool with a capacity
of 100 000 litres! This will without a doubt be the most spectacular aqua fitness event in Poland! Five
Polish and international presenters will lead 16 different exercise programs, including: AQUA BOX
DYNAMIC (endurance training using the absolutely new Duotech Aqua Mits), AQUA INTERVAL (an
explosive mixture of aqua cardio and aqua toning lessons that improve the efficiency of the respiratory
and circulation systems, as well as increase energy reserves in muscles), and under-water NORDIC
WALKING.
FIT-EXPO 2010 is also a great attraction for Indoor Cycling lovers. Fans of stationary bicycles, during
the two-day Evolution Ride 2010 event, will have an opportunity to take on many challenges and
discover unknown to now energy reserves. This year, warming up riders to musical rhythms mixed by
the world’s best DJs will be renowned Master Presenters: Suzan Braun, Dan Valla and Mariusz
Szewczyk. On Saturday, the first day of Evolution Ride, activities of various levels of difficulty will take
place, while on the second day, Sunday, a challenging moment awaits convention participants - a
four-hour marathon to music mixed live by DJ Schymek. Fantastic entertainment and unforgettable
feelings guaranteed! During the marathon a jury will evaluate technique, endurance, and the general
presence of participants. Each participant will receive a souvenir.
Taking place for the first time on the fairgrounds will be Speed Badminton Park 2010 – organized
during the event will be an inter-country Germany-Poland Speed Badminton Tournament and practical
workshops, enabling the obtainment of a speed badminton instructor certificate. Activities will be
conducted by trainers from the German Speed Badminton Federation (DSBV).
Speed badminton is a new sports discipline combining the best features of tennis, badminton, and
squash. The innovative technical solutions reserved under the name Speedminton® concern the
equipment used in this game. Thanks to the appropriately constructed shuttlecock, characterized by
high air stability, and the specially constructed light racket with strong stringing, speeds of up to
290km/h can be achieved! Completely new is the possibility of night play with the use of glow-in-thedark
shuttlecocks. A great benefit of speed badminton is full mobility and terrain universality. No net,
poles, playing field or court is required. It can be played anywhere and anytime - park, hall, beach,
snow. Play areas can be marked in almost anywhere and in many different ways: stick in the sand,

chalk on asphalt, and tape on grass. Speed badminton does not require any special skills, is easy as
badminton, dynamic like tennis, and quick as squash. This all leads to clear growth in the popularity of
this form of physical activity in the world.
For the second time in a row, Fit-Expo will also host Capoeira aficionados during the
Explosao – World Festival Grupo Capoeira Brasie. Such an event has never before been seen in
Poland! Here under the watchful eye of the best Capoeira masters you will experience this fascinating
dance-like martial art and Brazilian culture, set to the rhythm of samba. Organizers have invited
excellent masters and Caroline Sores – a singer with an amazing voice and exotic beauty, well known
in the Capoeiras world.
