Dimet TM (sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate solution) is<br />
composed of a 40% aqueous solution of sodium<br />
dimethyldithiocarbamate. The product is effective over<br />
a wide pH range and, when used as recommended,<br />
provides nearly complete precipitation of metals even in<br />
the presence of other chelating or sequestering agents.<br />
The sludge cake produced from its use as a heavy metal<br />
precipitant is compact, highly insoluble, and easily<br />
dewatered.<br />
Calmet®<br />
Cal-Red TM<br />
(calcium polysulfide solution) is a 29% lime-sulfur<br />
based solution and is suitable to use in various treatment<br />
systems as a metal precipitant and reductant. When used<br />
as part of a waste treatment program, Calmet effectively<br />
precipitates the highly soluble metals (arsenic, lead,<br />
copper, zinc, cadmium, molybdenum, uranium) as less<br />
soluble and non-toxic sulfides. It is also used to conduct<br />
in-situ remediation of uranium, selenium, arsenic,<br />
copper, and chromium contamination.<br />
(calcium polysulfide blend) is a 29% liquid blend<br />
formulated for site specific removal of heavy metals from<br />
wastewater stream. Compared to other metal precipitants,<br />
Cal-Red is a unique, cost-effective alternative.<br />
Trimet TM<br />
(sodium trithiocarbonate solution) is a 42% aqueous<br />
solution designed to remove copper, mercury, lead, and<br />
cadmium from waste streams through the formation of<br />
metal sulfides. Trimet will also stabilize metals in sludge or<br />
ash, preventing heavy metal leaching in the environment.<br />
The product is versatile and effective in both mildly acidic<br />
and mildly alkali systems. It is safer to use in treatment<br />
process and presents a much lower toxicity to aquatic life<br />
than many alternatives in use today.
