What was the Trust looking for?
Birmingham Children’s Hospital (BCH)
are constantly looking for ways to
maximise their budgets in order to
deliver best value services to patients
and staff. As part of this, BCH were
investing in massive redevelopments
and commissioning new buildings.
In order to make SMART decisions to
meet obligations under The Equality
Act 2010 and Part M of the building
regulations for renovations and building
works, it was necessary to undertake
a thorough audit of the current access
and facilities available at all public
facing areas of the Hospital.
