In October 2012, MITIE acquired Enara, the fourth
largest provider of homecare services. Working with
people of all ages, we provide a range of homecare
services to people who need help and support due
to illness, disability, infirmity or old-age. From preparing
meals and helping people get out and about, to
supporting more complex conditions such as learning
disabilities or dementia, our aim is to help people live a
happier and more independent life in the comfort of
their own home.
With over 60 branches across the south of England and
Wales, we work with Local Authorities and Primary Care
Trusts to deliver a homecare service to their local residents.
We’re a vital part of the communities that we work in
and pride ourselves on delivering a local service. This
means local branches, local carers and a service that’s
totally tailored to our clients’ and service users’ needs
and requirements. What’s more, all of this comes with the
backing of a national company which means increased
efficiencies and cost savings.
We understand the challenges faced by Local Authorities in
today’s tough economic climate, but our focus has always
remained the same – to provide a quality of care that you
would choose for yourself or a loved one. We pride ourselves
on quality and are ISO9001 and EXOR accredited and
also hold an ‘Investors in People’ award. As well as being
regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission
(CQC), we also have a ‘Quality Advisory Panel’, made up
of senior representatives from the health and social care
industry who advise us on all aspects of service delivery.
With the right processes and systems in place, we continually
monitor, communicate and review our management of
service delivery and quality, and work hard to constantly
improve what we do.
