In October 2012, <strong>MITIE</strong> acquired Enara, the fourth<br />

largest provider of homecare services. Work<strong>in</strong>g with<br />

people of all ages, we provide a range of homecare<br />

services to people who need help and support due<br />

to illness, disability, <strong>in</strong>firmity or old-age. From prepar<strong>in</strong>g<br />

meals and help<strong>in</strong>g people get out and about, to<br />

support<strong>in</strong>g more complex conditions such as learn<strong>in</strong>g<br />

disabilities or dementia, our aim is to help people live a<br />

happier and more <strong>in</strong>dependent life <strong>in</strong> the comfort of<br />

their own home.<br />

With over 60 branches across the south of England and<br />

Wales, we work with Local Authorities and Primary Care<br />

Trusts to deliver a homecare service to their local residents.<br />

We’re a vital part of the communities that we work <strong>in</strong><br />

and pride ourselves on deliver<strong>in</strong>g a local service. This<br />

means local branches, local carers and a service that’s<br />

totally tailored to our clients’ and service users’ needs<br />

and requirements. What’s more, all of this comes with the<br />

back<strong>in</strong>g of a national company which means <strong>in</strong>creased<br />

efficiencies and cost sav<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />

We understand the challenges faced by Local Authorities <strong>in</strong><br />

today’s tough economic climate, but our focus has always<br />

rema<strong>in</strong>ed the same – to provide a quality of care that you<br />

would choose for yourself or a loved one. We pride ourselves<br />

on quality and are ISO9001 and EXOR accredited and<br />

also hold an ‘Investors <strong>in</strong> People’ award. As well as be<strong>in</strong>g<br />

regulated and <strong>in</strong>spected by the Care Quality Commission<br />

(CQC), we also have a ‘Quality Advisory Panel’, made up<br />

of senior representatives from the health and social care<br />

<strong>in</strong>dustry who advise us on all aspects of service delivery.<br />

With the right processes and systems <strong>in</strong> place, we cont<strong>in</strong>ually<br />

monitor, communicate and review our management of<br />

service delivery and quality, and work hard to constantly<br />

improve what we do.<br />
