Darren Dawson FTLOTG FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME THE BLOODS CELEBRATE 50 YEARS Old Haileybury celebrated their 50 year history with a gala dinner at the MCG on 26 March. Nearly 400 people crammed into the Member’s Dining Room to hear stories of good times and bad. An impressive i hard cover publication, the book chronicles the decades with stories of on-field achievements, off-field activities and the characters around the club both past and present. VAFA web scribe Max McGraw reviewed the tome thusly: “In the pantheon of VAFA history books, this one is clearly number one.
